The deaf society 

They don't really listen, they just reply.

I wanna tell you something I’ve been thinking…”

In my 24 years of life, I’ve felt something for a long time—

I think the society we live in feels deaf.
We talk, we share, we try to connect… but most of the time, nobody actually listens.

People respond with words they think are right, opinions they assume, or they just give that same old routine dialogue" just leave it / just forget about it" , without ever pausing to understand the real story.
This is what it feels like to live in The Deaf Society.

We live in a world full of ears, but very few really listen. Maybe that’s the real problem.”

Sometimes I look around and wonder — do people actually hear each other?

Or do we just wait for our turn to speak, nod, and move on?

We throw advice, opinions, clichés, and copy-paste sympathy, thinking it makes us empathetic.

But it doesn’t.

It feels like everyone is talking, but no one is really listening.

We see someone hurt, struggling, breaking silently… and we ignore, even if we ask by mistake what's wrong we don't really listen and act like we care and worse some may say they have even more struggles in life and make fun of that someone's struggles.

Which will add some more pain to their hurt.

We live in a deaf society — self centred, selfish, jealous,judge,distracted people.

We assume,we spread misinformation, we compare, we respond without pausing to feel the other person’s truth.

We rarely stop to ask why someone is the way they are.

We rarely stop to just… be present.

And maybe that’s why people feel so alone, so unseen, so unheard.

It’s not just me. It’s all of us — trying to connect in a world that isn’t built to hear.

I’m not asking for solutions.

I just want sensibility, care, and someone who truly listens.

Maybe… I could be that real listener for you.

And maybe you could be that listener for someone else.

Together, we might just help the society get a hearing aid.
