I wanna tell you something I’ve been thinking…” In my 24 years of life, I’ve felt something for a long time— I think the society we live in feels deaf. We talk, we share, we try to connect… but most of the time, nobody actually listens. People respond with words they think are right, opinions they assume, or they just give that same old routine dialogue" just leave it / just forget about it" , without ever pausing to understand the real story. This is what it feels like to live in The Deaf Society. We live in a world full of ears, but very few really listen. Maybe that’s the real problem.” Sometimes I look around and wonder — do people actually hear each other? Or do we just wait for our turn to speak, nod, and move on? We throw advice , opinions , clichés , and copy-paste sympathy , thinking it makes us empathetic . But it doesn’t. It feels like everyone is talking, but no one is really listening....
